Aron Rosenberg is a licensed architect who never lost his love for sculpture. These unusual clocks are formed, cast and sculpted out of a fine grain reduced weight concrete. Keeping to a palette of grey and black, the concrete base serves as a canvas for iridescent and stained glass, stone and inset brass and copper, and the delicate jeweled clock hands crafted from copper enamel, wire, niobium coils and precious gemstones.
Influences range from Art Deco, the Russian Constructivists, architectural details and the Mayans to the work of Frank Gehry, resulting in a unique look that is surprising and beautiful.
