An honors graduate of the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris, Nadeige now keeps her studio in Brooklyn, and teaches ceramics at schools around New York City.
Nadeige is currently working in high-fire stoneware. Each of her forms starts as a perfect cylinder thrown on the wheel, which she then alters by the addition of hand-built elements until they reveal their inherent form and balance. Clearly influenced by her traditional French background in textile design and painting, Nadeige uses the clay surface as a canvas to explore color and composition.
Nadeige’s works are lead-free, waterproof, food- and microwave-safe. They should be washed by hand with soap and warm water. They should not be placed in or near high heat, like burners or ovens.
